STAFF REPORT
On July 14, 1987, the Cemetery Commission reviewed price comparisons for materials,
services and burial fees in the privately owned and other municipal cemeteries in
our area. The proposed increase will generate an additional $18,000. i~ revenue.
The Cemetery Commission recommends the following increases:

SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR THE SALE OF MATERIALS AND SERVICES BY

NO. 84-292 AND ALL SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS THERETO.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
7 SECTION 1. The costs to be charged for endowment Care grave

+If an interment is made at the time when first standard
interment is lowered to double depth, fee for the latter will be
reduced to $180.00 to which will be added the regular disinterment
14 fee and the cost of a liner or vault used for second interment.

16 NOTE: On all double death burials a vault must be used on first
17 interment. From sectional liners number 6 to 1 and vaults for
18 ship out, disinterment fees will be $450.00.

Disinterment and re-interment in Cemetery
Any equipment rental charges for disinterments shall be in
addition to regular disinterment fee.
All interments and disinterments requiring Saturday work wil
be charged at double the regular fees for these services.
SECTION 3. Cemetery operating hours are hereby established
as follows: Monday through Friday, except City established
holidays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All interment services on Saturday shall be scheduled so
