Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Environmental Review Committee Action:
On July 23, 1987, the Environmental Review Committee considered the
installation of a 36" reinforced concrete pipe storm (RC:?) drain,
catch basins and manholes on Kendall Drive between Pine Avenue to
Devil's Canyon Flood Channel and recommended the adoption of a Negative
Declaration for the project.
Council approved Health and Safety Findings on July 20, 1987.
Recommen-:led motion:
Adopt the Negative Declaration for Public Works Project 87-9, 36"
RCP, catch basins and manholes on Kendall Drive between Pine Avenue
and Devil's Canyon Flood Channel.
Adopt a Finding of Consistency with the General Plan,

STAFF REPORT
Public Works Project No. 87~9 (See attachment "A") concerns the
installation of a 36" reinforced concrete pipe storm drain, catch
basins, and accompanying manholes within the state highway right-
of-way on Kendall Drive between Pine Avenue to the north, to the
Devil's Canyon Flood Control Channel to the south (See Exhibit "A").
The Public Works Project will be installed within a rural area and
will in no way create adverse impacts on surrounding land uses upon
completion of the project.
On July 23, 1987, the Environmental Review Committee reviewed this
project and made the determination that the proposed project could
not have a significant effect on the environment. A, Negative
Declaration was recommended by said committee on the project. Any
comments received concerning the project are attached as Exhibit "B".
