BID SPEC: F-87-46
The proposed purchase is for a One Ton Flat Bed Truck With Hydraulic Dump to be
utilized in daily operations by the Public Services/Street Department. At the
request of the department and in co-ordination with the Equipment Superintendent,
appropriate specifications were prepared, published and furnished to area suppliers.
Bids were publicly opened June 11, 1987. The following is a summary of bids received.

Twenty-nine (29) bidders were solicited, nine (9) responded - five (5) with NO BID,
four (4) with pricing. Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Public
Services Director and Equipment Superintendent who concur, that the bid of Mission
Chevrolet meets specifications and requirements. It is therefore recommended that
the bid be accepted for contract. The funding of $16,500 is in the 1986/87 budget.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO MISSION
CHEVROLET CO. FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE EACH - ONE TON FLAT
3 BED TRUCK WITH HYDRAULIC DUMP TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC SERVICES/STREET
DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-87-46.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER-
5 NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1. Mission Chevrolet Co. is the lowest and best bidder for the
7 furnishing and delivery of (1) One Each - One Ton Flat Bed Truck With
8 Hydraulic Dump in accordance with Bid Specification F-87-46 for the total
9 amount of $15,761.14; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent
10 is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said One
II Ton Flat Bed Truck to said lowest and best bidder; such award shall only be
12 effective upon the issuance of a purchase order by the Purchasing Agent; and
13 all other bids therefor are hereby rejected.
14 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
15 Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
16
meeting thereof, held on the
