2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REJECTING ALL BIDS
FOR THE OPERATION OF A CONCESSION FACILITY AT SECCOMBE LAKE AND
3 AUTHORIZING RE-BID.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
It is proposed that a contract be entered into
to operate a concession facility at Seccombe Lake by the Parks,
Recreation & Community Services Department.
SECTION 2.
Appropriate specifications were prepared,
published and furnished to area suppliers.
SECTION 3. Seventy-four bidders were solicited and only

six responded.
Of the six responses only one provided a bid
price in compliance with the publication. Sections 140 and 238
of the Charter of the City of San Bernardino provide for
rejection of all bids and re-bidding of a project when found
necessary.
SECTION 4. At the recommendation of the Purchasing Agent
and the Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services, the
Mayor and Common Council hereby reject all bids as noted herein
and authorize such departments to re-bid the project.
