Synopsis of Previous Council action:
The 1987-83 Budget includes certain expenses for training and conferences.
As a matter of policy, the Mayor and Common Council have required advanced
approval of travel for attending such conferences. With the vacancy in the
position of Building and Safety Director, the Acting Director requests'that
the Building Inspection Supervisor, Dean Pagel, be allowed to attend the
International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) Annual Education and
Code Development Conference in Kansas City, Missouri from Setember 20-25, 1987.
Recommen-:led motion:
That Building Inspection Supervisor Dean Pagel's attendance be approved for
the ICBo Conference, September 20-25, 1987 in Kansas City, Missouri.
URGENCY CLAUSE
This item needs early consideration to
obtain a discount on the advanced regis-
tration.
