Synopsis of Previous Council action:
4-7-86 --- Resol ution No. 86-98, adopted by the Mayor and Common Counci 1,
found that the public interest, convenience and necessity required
the formation of a landscaping maintenance district.
3-3-86 ---- Reso1 uti on No. 86-75, adopted by the Mayor and Common Counci 1,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said
district will be benefited by the maintenance of said 1andscapin9.

As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 86-98 and 86-75, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 970 (Cable Creek Area) has
been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN 8ERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1987-88
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 970, LANDSCAPING
3 MAINTENANCE, CA8LE CREEK AREA.
4 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-98, the Mayor and Common
5 Council found that the public interest, convenience and necessity
6 required the formation of a landscaping maintenance district; and
7 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 86-98, the Mayor and
8 Common Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment
9 District No. 970 for the purpose of providing landscaping
10 maintenance in the Cable Creek area pursuant to the provisions of
11 Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code; and
12 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-75, the Mayor and Common
13 Council declared that all the land included within the boundaries
14 of said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said
15 landscaping; and
16 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 86-75 declared that an
17 annual assessment shall be levied on all land within the district
18 to provide funding for said landscaping maintenance and the
19 administration thereof; and
20 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totalling
21 $ 664.08
which sets forth the individual assessments to be
22 levied on each of the parcels of land within Assessment District
23 No. 970 for the fiscal year 1987-88;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby
find and determine that the proportionate costs to be levied
against the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 970
are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 970 for the fiscal
year 1987-88, designated as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, and
do hereby confirm said assessments.
SECTION 2. That the Ci ty Clerk is directed to cause a
copy of this Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the
Auditor-Controller for the County of San Bernardino with the
request that the individual assessments be placed on the
sub j e c t 1 g 8 7 - 8 8 proper t y tax bill s for co 11 e c t i on to get her wit h
all other property taxes.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Counci 1 of the Ci ty of San
Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held on
