STAFF REPORT
BID SPEC: F-87-24
The proposed contract is for furnishing trophies and awards for the Park & Recreation
department sports programs.
Appropriate specifications were prepared, published and furnished to area yendors.
Bids were opened and publicly del cared on March 31, 1987. Twelye (12) yendors were
solicited, eight (8) did not respond, one (1) bid rejected (incomplete).
The following is a summary of bids receiyed:

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO t.1A,JESTlC
TROPHY FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF VARIDUS SPORT TROPHIES AND ~1EUAlS
TO BE UTILIZED IN SPORTS PROGRAMS CONDUCTED BY THE PARKS, RECREATION AND
COI-1I4UNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT IN ACCORUANCE ImH BlIJ SI'LClrlCAllON NI). f-B]-24.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE MAYOR AND COMMON COLINCIl OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOllOWS:
SECTION L ~lAJESTIC TROPHY is the lowest and best bidder for the
furnishing and deliyery of yarious sport trophies and medals to be utilized in
sports programs conducted by the Parks, Recreation and Comnunity Seryices
Department in accordance with Bid Specification No. F-87-24 for the total
amount of $14,489.56; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasin(1 Jl.flent is
hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said sport trophies
and medals to said lowest and best bidder; such award shall only be effectiye
upon the issuance' of a purchase order by the Purchas irHl A(1ent; amI a 11 other
bids therefore are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
