Dept: Date: April 23, 1987 Synopsis of Previous Council action: 5-19-86 -- Resolution No. 86-191 adopted closing Piedmont Drive at its easterly terminus and directing construction of a cul-de-sac. 7-21-86 -- Went on record supporting construction of temporary emergency access. 8-18-86 -- Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. 8-18-86 -- Resolution No. 86-330 adopted authorizing execution of a Reimbursement Agreement with Hill Williams relative to Tract 13329. 8-18-86 -- Resolution No. 86-331 adopted authorizing execution of a Reimbursement Agreement with Hill Williams relative to APN 285-181-35 (Expired Tent. The Contractor quoted a price of $2.84 per lineal foot to change the wall to tan slumpstone for a net increase of $1763.64 increasing the contract price from $254,978.50 to $256,742.14. We consider this a fair price and recommend that contract change order No. 1 be approved.
