Approval of Plans & Authorization to
Advertise for Bids -- Construction of
Parking Lot at Animal Shelter, per
Plan No. 7218
Synopsis of Previous Council action:
June, 1986 --- Allocation of $25,000 for resurfacing, restriping parking lot
for Animal Shelter approved in 1986/87 Budget.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for resurfacing and restriping the parking
lot for the Animal Shelter, in accordance with Plan No.
7218, be approved; and the Director of Public Works/City
Engineer authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for this improvement have been prepared by the Engineering
Division and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project
consists, in general, of removing existing pavement, constructing new
pavement, curbed islands and landscaping, and striping.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:

An amount of $25,000 has been allocated, under Account No.
