Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On February 2, 1987, the Mayor and Common Council adopted the FY 1987/1988
COBG Program Mix and authorized staff to solicit COBG funding proposals for the
FY 1987/1988 fiscal year.
Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Common Council set date and time certain for the FY 1987/1988
COBG Public Hearing for consideration of various funding proposals as follows:
May 11, 1987 at 3:00 p.m.

STAFF REPORT
On February 2, 1987, the Mayor and Common Council approved
and adopted the FY1987/l988 CDBG Program Mix and authorized
staff to solicit proposals. The published time period for
submission of proposals was February 3, 1987 to March 3, 1987
by 4:00 p.m.
Some thirty-seven (37) proposals were received and are
currently under review by the Community Development Citizen
Advisory Committee. The Committee will submit to the Mayor
and Common Council recommendations for funding under the fair
housing, public services and capital improvements categories
of the approved Program Mix. These recommendations will be
considered by the Mayor. and Common Council during the Public
Hearing and approved, modified or rejected, as appropriate.
Staff recommends adoption of the form motion.
