STAFF REPORT
This Resolution confirms the Assessment Roll and approves the
Assessment Diagram Map No. 976 for the maintenance of land-
scaping in portions of Pine Avenue, Belmont Avenue, Irvington
Avenue and the Metropolitan Water District land adjacent to
Pine Avenue.
On August 4, 1986, Resolution of Intention No. 86-322 was
adopted which instituted formal proceedings to form an
assessment district in the Pine and Belmont Avenue area for the
maintenance of landscaping, and on December 8, 1986, Resolution
of Intention No. 86-500 was adopted which instituted formal
proceedings to expand the boundaries of the district.
All the requirements of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code
were fullfilled, and on August 19, 1986, and January 5, 1987,
the Resolutionlsl ordering work was adopted. The charges for
the establishment of the district total $2,174.64 which will be
paid from the up-front money deposited by the Developer.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENT ROLL NO. 976 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF LANDSCAPING IN
PORTIONS OF PINE AVENUE, BELMONT AVENUE, IRVINGTON AVENUE AND
THE METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT PROPERTY ADJACENT TO PINE
AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AND APPROVING
ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM MAP NO. 976.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino on August 4, 1986, adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 86-322, to order the work described therein to
be done under the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San
Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council on August 4,
1986,
approved
the
Engineer's Report on the
which report includes a
proposed
proposed
assessment
district,
assessment roll and Assessment District Map relative to
Assessment District No. 976; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino on December 8, 1986, adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 86-500 to order the Expansion of the District
Boundaries under the provisions of Chapter 12.90.060 of the
San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention No.
86-322 and 86-500, the City of San Bernardino proceeded
without Notice and Hearing; and
WHEREAS, incidental expenses totalling $2,174.64 have
been incurred for the establishment of the district, which
must be spread over the individual parcels of said assessment
district, the City has computed and set forth in attached

Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein by reference the
first year assessment for each individual parcel, all of which
are as set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is hereby
declared to be the Assessment District No. 976 Roll for 1987-
88 for the Pine and Belmont Landscape Maintenance District.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLO~S:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do
hereby find and determine that the proportionate costs to be
levied against the parcels of land within Assessment District
No. 976 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 976
for the fiscal year 1987-88, Pine and Belmont Landscape
Maintenance District, which Exhibit is attached hereto and is
incorporated herein by reference, and the Mayor and Common
Council do hereby confirm said assessments.
SECTION 2. That said Assessment Diagram Map No. 976
is hereby approved.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held on
