STAFF REPORT
This Resolution confirms the Assessment Roll and approves the
Assessment Diagram Map No. 975 for the maintenance of land-
scaping in portions of Mill Street, Pepper Avenue and
Eucalyptus Avenue.
Dn December 8, 1986, Resolution of Intention No. 86-501 was
adopted which instituted formal proceedings to form an
assessment district in the Mill and Pepper area for the
maintenance of landscaping.
All the requirements of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code
were fullfilled, and on January 5, 1987, the Resolution(sl
ordering work was adopted. The charges for the establishment
of the district total $1,909.92 which will be paid from the up-
front money deposited by the Developer.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENT ROLL NO. 975 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF FUTURE LAND-
SCAPING IN PORTIONS OF MILL STREET, PEPPER AVENUE AND
EUCALYPTUS AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AND
APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM MAP NO. 975.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino on December 8, 1986, adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 86-501, to order the work described therein to
be done under the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San
Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council on December 8,
1986,
approved
the Engineer's Report on the
proposed
proposed
assessment
di strict,
which report includes a
assessment roll and Assessment District Map relative to
Assessment District No. 975; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said.Resolution of Intention No.
86-501, the City of San Bernardino proceeded without Notice
and Hearing; and
WHEREAS, incidental expenses totalling $1,909.92 have
been incurred for the establishment of the district, which
must be spread over the individual parcels of said assessment
district, the City has computed and set forth in attached
Exhibit "An which is incorporated herein by reference the
first year assessment for each individual parcel, all of which
are as set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is hereby
declared to be the Assessment District No. 975 Roll for 1987-
88 for the Pepper and Mill Landscape Maintenance District.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Tha t the Mayo.r and Common
Council
do
4 hereby find and determine that the proportionate costs to be
5 levied against the parcels of land within Assessment District
6 No. 975 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 975
7 for the fiscal year 1987-88, Pepper and Mill Landscape
8 Maintenance District, which Exhibit is attached hereto and is
9 incorporated herein by reference, and the Mayor and Common
10 Council do hereby confirm said assessments.

SECTION 2.
That said Assessment Diagram Map No. 975
12 is hereby approved.
