BID SPEC: F-87-22
The proposed purchase is for one new 3/4 ton van, to be utilized in daily
operations by the Communications Department. At the request of the department
and in co-ordination with the Equipment Superintendent, appropriate specificat-
ions were prepared, published and furnished to area suppliers. The following is
a summary of bids received.

Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Equipment Superintendent and
Director of Emergency Services who concur, that the bid of Crest Chevrolet meets ~
specifications and requirements. It is therefore recommended that the bid be
accepted for contract. The amount of $12,960 was included in the 1986/87 budget
for this equipment,

RESOLUTION NO,
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO CREST
CHEVROLET FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE NEW 3/4 TON VAN TO BE
UTILIZED BY TAE COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION
F-87-22,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER-
NARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, Crest Chevrolet is the lowest and best bidder for the
furnishing and delivery of one new 3/4 ton van in accordance with Bid Spec-
ification F-87-22 for the total amount of $11,701,34; pursuant to this
determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to
issue a purchase order for said one new 3/4 ton van to said lowest and best
bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a purchase
order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor are hereby
rejected,
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
meeting thereof, held on the
