STAFF REPORT
The Southern California Edison Company has requested an
easement across a portion of City owned land located at the
Water Department's Newmark No.1' well. The easement is
required due tQ the construction of the aeration towers and
the upgrading of the Newmark No. 1 well's electrical equip-
~ent, more specifically, underground power lines and a pad
mounted transformer.
The Board of Water Commissioners approved said easement at
their regular meeting held on Tuesday, February 17, 1987.

EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, A
OVER CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT NEWMARK NO.
BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA.
GRANTING AN
CORPORATION,
1 WELL, SAN
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
That the City of
San Bernardino execute a
,
Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison Company, a
corporation,
for
transmission
of electrical
energy
and
appurtenant facilities.
SECTION TWO:
That the said Grant of Easement referred to
herein, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A",
and is hereby referred to and made a part hereof as fully as
though set forth at length herein, is hereby approved.
SECTION THREE: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City
of San Bernardino are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Grant of Easement on behalf of the City of San Bernardino.
