CIO OF SAN Bl!RNARDCo - REQUIOT FOR COUNCIL ACOoN STAFF REPORT A petition has been recefved by this office requesting the formation of an assessment district for the constructfon of a storm drain and appurtenant facilites in portfons of Kendall Drive, between Pine Avenue and Devil's Canyon Flood Control Channel, and the signatures affixed to the petitfon have been checked and found to represent 100% of the area of the property to be assessed for the proposed improvement. Authori za ti on to proceed under Chapter 12.90 was gf ven to the City Engineer and the City Clerk at your meeting of "ovember 3, 1986. After re-evaluation of the proposed project, it has been determined that this is a viable and saleable 1911 Act project. By utilizing the 1911 Act, the project can be constructed in a timely fashion, and the City would not need to use its Assessment Distrfct Reserve Funds. The estimated construction cost is between $180,000.00 and $200,000.00.
