STAFF REPORT
At the September 22, 1986 Council meeting, two separate actions were taken
in regards to funding various social services agencies, including Boys'
Club of San Bernardino, Inc., Family Services Agency, Merri-Mixers, Frazier
Community Center, Rolling Start, Inc., and Casa Romona, Inc.
The first action taken which was ratified by Resolution No. 86-378 was re-
lated to reinstating the funds for these social services programs at the
1985-1986 level on a month-to-month basis for a period of three months from
July through September 1986.
The second action, taken at a later time on the same day, was to continue
the funding until June 30, 1987. Additional funds were allocated from COBG
($17,000) and operating contingency ($15,000) in order to sustain the pro-
grams through June 30. 1987.
However, a resolution was never prepared to amend Resolution No. 86-378 in
order to grant the extension from October 1, 1986 through June 30. 1987.
This is an attempt to make that amendment.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 86-378 ENTITLED IN PART "RESOLUTION . .
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENTS WITH
THE BOYS' CLUB OF SAN BERNARDINO, INC., FAMILY SERVICES,
MERRI-MIXERS, FRAZEE COMMUNITY CENTER, ROLLING START, INC.,
AND CASA RAMONA, INC., RELATING TO A REINSTATEMENT OF FUNDING
. . . ON A MONTH-TO-MONTH BASIS. . ." TO PROVIDE THAT SAID
AGREEMENTS SHALL CONTINUE IN EFFECT THROUGH JUNE 30, 1987.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution No. 86-378 Section 1 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said
city an Amendment to Agreement with Boys' Club of San
Bernardino, Inc., Family Services, Merri-Mixers, Frazee
Community center, Rolling Start, Inc., and Casa Ramona, Inc.,
relating to a reinstatement of funding for these social
service programs at the 1985-1986 level on a month-to-month
basis through June 30, 1987, copies of which are attached
hereto, marked as Exhibits "A" through "G", respectively, and
incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth
at length."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
