Street. Formal legal ten (10) day notice was issued on August 3, 1989. Legal notice was mailed to land and registered owners. No action was taken by either party and no appeal was filed. Vehicle was abated on August 22, 1989. There was one (1) vehicle abated for a total of $138.50. CASE NO.: 89 VAP. 328-08 75-0264 o o RESOLUTION NO. 1 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE 'cOSTS 3 NUISANCES ON SAID PROPERTIES 4 SAN BERNARDINO ASSESSING LOCA't:HD WIT.BIN THE CITY OF OJ' ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC (CASE; NO. 89 YAP 328-08) WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority 5. under Chapter 8.36 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code, did lawfully give. 6 notice of and thereafter abate public nuisances found to exist on the 7 properties described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated in this 8 9. 10 11 12 13 resolution; and WHEREAS,pursuant to the San Bernardino Municipal Code, the Superintendent of Public Buildings served notice to all property owners of the abatement costs for removing abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, and/or inoperative vehicles or parts thereof from the property; and WHEREAS, opportunity for a hearing before the Board of Building 14 Commissioners to protest the abatement costs was afforded the property 15 16 17 18 owners, with no response forthcoming; NOW THERBFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council confirm and adopt as 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 The legal description of each parcel is detailed in Exhibit "A" special assessments, the following abatement costs which have been incurred by the City for the abatement of public nuisances found to exist on the following properties: Assessment No, Assessor's No. Amount of Assessment Property Address 1 142-454-02 2630 W. 6th. St. $138.50 27 28 WO:mal August 28, 1989 o o 1 The legal description of each parcel is detailed in Exhibits 2 SECTION 2, The above assessments shan be paid to Public Buildignsl 3 Parking Control, basement of City Hall, 300 N. "D" Street, San Bernardino, 4 CA. 92418, within thirty (30) days after notice of this resolution is mailed to 5 all parties with an interest in the above properties. All /Ulsessments not 6 fully paid in thirty (30) days sbaD become a lien on the property pursuant 7 to the San Bernardino Municipal Code and shall be collected as a special 8 assessment thereon. 9 SECTION 3. If the above asses!;ment is not paid as hereinabove 10 provided, the City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this resolution 11 with the Auditor of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, 12 directing that said assessment be entered as a lien against the property as it 13 appears on the current assessment rolls.
