fication study, against the wishes of the department and the
employee. Both still want the previous title reinstated, and
the Personnel Department feels the department's request is
justified since the duties currently performed are more
consistent with the job specification of Community Employment
specialist.
This action will not have any monetary impact even though a
5% salary downgrade is occuring, from Range 1087 to Range
1083. This is because the employee is only on step 3 of the
current salary range, and will be placed on step 4 of the new
salary range, thUs remaining at her current pay level.
Resolution 6433 - "Staffing Levels" will reflect this change
at a subsequent council meeting if approved by council today.
