Dear Mayor and Council:
We, the Directors of the Thursday Morning Group, ask that
the City and County of San Bernardino take whatever action
is necessary to relocate the new San Bernardino County
Medical Center to a suitable site in the City of San
Bernardino.
The loss of this important facility could mean a loss of
some 1700 jobs to members of our community, as well as an
estimated $45,000,000 budget to operate the facility in San
Bernardino.
The Thursday Morning Group strongly encourages the Mayor and
Council and the County of San Bernardino to appoint a task
force to select an appropriate site within the City of San
Bernardino.
Please advise us of any future meetings which may be
scheduled relative to this matter.
