BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL BACKGROUND
SALVATORE R. CATALANO, CSM
GENERAL MANAGER, CENTRAL CITY MALL
Worked as Land Agent and Ass i stant Real Estate Manager for the Redeve 1 op-
ment Agency of the City of San Bernardino during the active execution
phase of the Central City and Meadowbrook projects in downtown San
Bernardino. Worked for eight years in the Planning Department of the
City of San Bernardino. Served as Secretary of the Environmental Review
Commi ttee, Secretary of the Geo 1 ogi ca 1 Review Committee, and as the
Assistant Director of Planning.
Past Member of the Board of Di rectors of San Bernardi no Area Chamber of
Commerce. Past Chairman of the City Revitalization Committee of the Chamber
of Commerce. Member of the Board of Councillors, California State College
at San Bernardino. Past Member of the Youth Opportunities Unlimited ~il.
Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Director of
Citizens for Responsible Government. Director and President of the Thursday
Morni ng Group, Past Chai nnan of the Tri-Ci ty Advi sory Committee. Member
of the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association. Past Marshall
