Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
January 7, 2008 -Resolution 2008-6 -The Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino authorized the execution of an agreement with R3 Consulting Group,
Inc., for business plan consulting services for the Integrated Waste Management
Division.
Recommended Motion:
Refer the business plan to the Council
Ways and Means Committee.

Subject:
Review of the Public Services Integrated Waste Management Division Business Plan
prepared by R3 Consulting Group.
Background:
The Management Partners Study Review of City Operations resulted in several
recommendations. One recommendation was to complete a business plan for the
Integrated Waste Management Division. R3 Consulting was selected to complete the
business plan study. R3 Consulting completed the business plan and staff would like
the matter referred to the Council Ways and Means Committee for review and
discussion of business plan recommendations.
