RE: Resolution of Commendation
Carousel Mall Security

Dear Mayor and Council:
It is with great enthusiasm that the Central City Company and Carousel Mall Merchants
Association jointly request that the Mayor and City Council adopt a resolution commending
the Carousel Mall security force, as a unit, for outstanding service,
Through the efforts of these men and women, coupled with those of the Mall family, the
overall perception of security at Carousel Mall has vastly improved. The conscientious
manner in which these officers have carried out their duties has resulted in the mall being a
better place to shop, while providing our customers with a more safe and secure shopping
environment.
Through the leadership of the Mall Security Supervisor Sgt. Dan Hernandez and his
Assistants, and the dedication of each officer, the mall security force has been successful
in achieving a sianificant improvement in every area of security-related statistics.
We have received many compliments from our customers and our merchants that are
testimony to the outstanding performance of the Carousel Mall security team.
In addition to adopting the requested unit commendation resolution, we request that a copy
be presented to each of the Carousel Mall Security Officers, including Sergeant
Hernandez, and so noted in their personnel files.
