STAPP REPORT
Construction of Parking' Lot for
1620 West Base Line Street
Bids for the improvement of the parking lot at 1620 West Base
Line Street, were received at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, 5-26-92.
A total of 9 bids were received, ranging from $44,106.50 to
$60,006.00. The low bid of $44,106.50 is 16.3% over the
Engineer's Estimate of $37,911.00.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost, based upon the
actual low bid price.

Due to the number of bids received, it appears that the
Engineer's Estimate did not fully reflect current pricing levels,
and the low bid is the best that we can reasonably expect to
receive. Therefore, we recommend that a contract be awarded for
the low bid.
URGENCY CLAOSE:
This work must be done, or a permit issued, prior to 6-17-92, in
order to keep the Conditional Use Permit from expiring.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BOB BRITTON, INC.
FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PARKING LOT AT 1620 WEST BASE LINE STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Bob Britton, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder
for:
Improvement of Parking Lot at 1620 West Base Line
Street, per Plan No. 8712.
A contract is awarded accordingly to
said bidder for the total amount of $44,106.50, but such award
shall be effective only upon the contract being fully executed by
both parties.
All other bids, therefore, are hereby rejected.

in the
incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at
length.
SECTION 2.
This contract and any amendment or modifica-
tions thereto shall not take effect or become operative until
fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be
obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution.
No
oral
amendments,
agreements,
modifications
waivers
or
are
intended or authorized and shall not be implied from any act or
course of conduct of any party.
SECTION 3.
This resolution is rescinded if the parties

26 passage of this resolution.
