maintained home is one of two that has received the Mayor's quarterly Neighborhood
Pride Award. Your home is featured in the next issue of our city's publication, NEWS
OF THE CITY which is inserted into the San Bernardino County Sun newspaper on
November 7 and in news racks on November 7 and 8. Your home was nominated by Vi
Andon.

I want to invite you and your family and friends and Ms. Andon to attend the December
6 City Council meeting at 9 a.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 300 North D
Street, to receive your Neighborhood Pride Award from me personally. Please call June

confirm your attendance.

Dear Mrs. Bryant:
On behalf of the City of San Bernardino Mayor and Common Council, please accept our
deepest sympathies in the recent loss of your husband, James. It has been brought to my
attention by many people of you and your husband's faithful service to the community
over the many years that you have been residents; which included opening your lovely
home as a poling place to voters in the Sixth Ward for many, many years.
Mr. James Elder and Councilwoman Betty Dean Anderson, in particular, have witnessed
how you have maintained your home with great care and diligence in your neighborhood,
which is a great source of pride to our City and its beautification efforts.
