Synopsis of Previous Council action:
June, 1991 -- Allocation of $50,000 in 1991/92 Budget for Community
Development Block Grant Funds, approved.
Racommended motion:
That the plans for construction of handicap ramps at various
locations, in accordance with Plan No. 8656, be approved; and
the Director of Public Works/City Engineer authorized to
advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT

Plans for construction of handicap ramps at various
locations have been prepared by the Engineering Division
personnel, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
The project consists of installing about 49 ramps at 24 inter-
sections, generally located along Highland Avenue, Sierra Way,
Sepulveda Avenue and 40th Street.
Below is an estimate of the total estimated project cost:
