STAFF REPORT
On February 24, 1992, the Cemetery Department reviewed price comparisons for materials,
services and burial fees in the privately owned and other municipal cemeteries in our
area. The proposed increase will generate an additional $35,000 in revenue.

1 SECTION 3. Cemetery operating hours are hereby established as
2 follows:
3 Monday through Friday. except City established Holidays
4 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
5 All interment services on Saturday shall be scheduled so that
6 mourners will be out of the cemetery by 11:30 a.m.
7 A $75.00 cash deposit shall be required in advance for all weekday
8 (Monday through Friday) afternoon and Saturday interments. If the interment
9 service is over and mourners are out of the cemetery by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays
10 or by 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, the deposit will be refunded. An additional
11 charge of $75.00 per hour will be levied for each hour or fraction thereof
12 after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays or after 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays that interment
13 services are not concluded, or mourners are not out of the cemetery. The
14 $75.00 deposit shall apply to that charge.
15 SECTION 4. Costs for concrete sectional grave and one piece domed
16 liners, without bottoms, and concrete burial vaults are hereby established
17 as follows:
