STAFF REPORT
The City is presently widening Belmont Avenue and other streets in the Verdemont
Area. A new storm drain will be installed at this area of Belmont Avenue on
Water Department property. As this property is being considered for sale to the
school district. It is necessary to dedicate the area needed for storm drain
purposes.
The attached Resolution establishes the boundaries of the drain al,d designates
the use of the property described for storm drain purposes.
Attached is the February 18. 1992. approval of the Board of Water Co~nissioners
of the City of San Bernardino for the proposed dedication.

At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Water Commissioners held on
February 18, 1992, it was unanimously voted to approve the
dedication of a portion of property located on the southerly side
of Belmont Avenue, westerly of Magnolia Avenue, which is currently
dedicated for Water Department use, for storm drain purposes.
Please forward a copy of the executed Resolution when approved by
the Mayor and Common Council.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING A BOUNDARY
FOR A PORTION OF CITY O~~ED PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF
BELMONT AVENUE, ~"ESTERLY OF MAGNOLIA AVENUE, AND DEDICATION OF SAME FOR
STORM DRAIN PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby establish a boundary for a portion of City of San
Bernardino owned property located on the Southerly side of Belmont Avenue,
Westerly of Magnolia Avenue, described as follows:
That portion of the vacated Southerly 20.00 feet of
Belmont Avenue as said street was reduced in width by the
Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County on February
21, 1910, lying adjacent to Block 76, according to the
Map of the Town of Irvington and Lands of Irvington Land
and Water Company, as per map thereof recorded in Book 3
of Maps, Page 9, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Westerly line of
Magnolia Avenue, 64 feet wide and the Southerly line of
Belmont Avenue, 62 feet wide; thence Westerly along said
Southerly line of Belmont Avenue, a distance of 638 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; thence Southwesterly and
at right angles to said Southerly line of Belmont Avenue,
a distance of 15 feet; thence Northwesterly and parallel
with said Southerly line of Belmont Avenue, a distance of
60 feet; thence Northeasterly and at right angles to said
Southerly line of Belmont Avenue, a distance of 15 feet
to said Southerly line; thence Southeasterly along said
Southerly line of Belmont Avenue, a distance ot 60 feet,
to the True Point of Beginning.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San
Bernardino
hereby dedicate for storm drain purposes, all of the
above
