STAFF REPORT
A half street was dedicated and improved along the East boundary line of
Curtis Middle School at the time the school was constructed.
No name was established for this partially improved street. even though it
was open for use by the public. Since this street is used by the public. it
seems appropriate that a name should be est.ablished for identification
purposes. Estilblishing a IIame for' this street wi 11 assist emergency service
departments in locating the street.
We recommend that the name "Romo Road" be established for this street..

CERTAIN UN-NAMED NORTH/SOUTH STREET LOCATED NOllTH OF SIXm STREET AND WEST OF
DEL ROSA AVENlffi AS ROMO ROAD, WITHIN Tlffi CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, EFFECTIVE AS OF THE DATE OF ADOPTION OF THIS RESOLlJTlON.
WlffiREAS ; by document recorded JlIDe lb, 1'165 as document no. 845 in
Book 6412, page 627, Official Records of San Bernardinu COlmty, the City of
San Bernardino was granted a Street whieh rlIDS in a North and South
direci..i on, and which is locdted Nurth uf Sixth Street and West of Del Rusa
Avenue; and
1'l1IEREAS; at the time said Street was dedicated, no name was assigned.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the name of that certain NorthlSouth Street located
North uf Sixth Street and West of Del Rosa Avenue, be, and the same is hereby
named to be Romo Ruad, effective as of the date of this Resolution.
SECTION TWO: The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino shall cause
Ii certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
COlmty Recorder of the COlmty of San Bernardino.
