On November 18, 1991 the Community Development Commission authorized
staff to: (i) acquire the land and structures commonly known as
Parks ide Medical, 2730 North "B" Street, San Bernardino; (11)
advertise in public newspapers to solicit and secure competitive bids
for the demolition of all improvements and structures on said property.

That the Community Development Commission authorize the Executive
Director to execute a demolition and disposal contract in an amount
not to exceed $99,250 to Shrosbree Construction for the demolition
and disposal of all structures and improvements on said property
known as 2730 North "I" Street.

Upon the direction of the Community Development Commission, staff,
consistent with normal Agency procedures, advertised for the demolition
and disposal of all structures and improvements located at 2730 North
"E" Street. As a result of the process staff received four (4) bids
for the proposed work.
The following is a list of the submitting contractors and their
proposals. As listed and enumerated, each proposed contract price has
an additional fifteen percent (1511:) contingency to compensate for the
uniform deletions used in the bidding process.

Based upon the thorough examination of the method and content of the
proposals received, staff recommends the award of said Demolition
Contract to Shrosbree Construction, for an amount not to exceed
$99,226.00.
Staff recommends adoption of the form motion.
