That the Real Property Section of the Public liorks Department be authorized
and directed to proceed with changing the nilllle of Campeau Drive lying both
East and liest of Hallmark Parkway and Nortb of University Parkway to
GANNET1' PARKliAY.

STAFF REPORT
The Sun Company is developing their property in the Hallmark Parkway area. They are
requesting a street name change for Campeau Drive and would like Campeau Drive changed
to Gannett Parkway.
There are no residences and only one business affected by this proposed street name
change. The two property owners will be notified of the proposed change of name as a
matter of course in these proceedings. and they will have the opportunity to address
the Mayor and Council regarding same.
With your authorization, this office will make the necessary notifications to
adjoining property owners, City Departments and util ity companies. conduct the
investigations and prepare the appropriate resolution. The Post Office will also be
advised of the street name change. The Sun has paid a $500.00 processing fee for
this street name change. and the Sun will be responsible for any costs for new street
naJlle signs.
Staff hereby recommends that authorization to proceed with this street name change be
granted.
