STAFF REPORT
The City is presently constructing street improvements on Magnolia Avenue and
along Belmont Avenue in the Verdemont area. The City of San Bernardino owns the
properties bounded by Belmont Avenue, Magnolia Avenue, Irvington Avenue and
Little League Drive (Municipal Water Department).
The attached Resolution establishes a boundary and widens the right of way for
Belmont Avenue between Little League Drive and Magnolia Avenue, Magnolia Avenue
between Belmont Avenue and Irvington Avenue, sets aside land for the handicap
ramps to ,be constructed at the Southeast corner of Little League Drive and
Belmont Avenue and the Southwest corner of Magnolia Avenue and Belmont Avenue,
and designates these City properties as described in the attached Resolution for
street and highway purposes.
Attached is the 11-05-91 approval of the Board of Water Commissioners of the City
of San Bernardino for the proposed dedication.

On November 5, 1991, at the Regular Meeting of the Board of Water
Commissioners of the city of San Bernardino, it was unanimously
voted to concur with the dedication of two feet, southerly side of
Belmont Avenue, southeast corner of Little League and Belmont, two
feet of the westerly side of Magnolia, southwest corner of Belmont
and Magnolia, be designated for street and highway purposes.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING A BOUNDARY
FOR A PORTION OF THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF BELMONT AVENUE BETWEEN LITTLE LEAGUE
3 DRIVE AND MAGNOLIA AVENUE, A PORTION OF THE WESTERLY SIDE OF MAGNOLIA AVENUE
BETWEEN BELMONT AVENUE AND IRVINGTON AVENUE, A PORTION OF THE SOUTHEASTERLY
4 CORNER OF LITTLE LEAGUE DRIVE AND BELMONT AVENUE AND A PORTION OF THE SOUTH-
WESTERLY CORNER OF BELMONT AVENUE AND MAGNOLIA AVENUE AND DEDICATION OF SAME
5 FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby establish a boundary for a portion of the Southerly
side
10 of Belmont Avenue between Little League Drive and Magnolia Avenue, a portion
11 of the Westerly side of Magnolia Avenue between Belmont Avenue and Irvington
12 Avenue, a portion of the Southeasterly corner of Little League Drive and
13 Belmont Avenue and a portion of the Southwesterly corner of Belmont Avenue
14 and Magnolia Avenue, described as follows:

Those portions of Block 76, according to the Map of the
Town of Irvington and Lands of Irvington Land and Water
Company, as per map thereof recorded in Book 3 of Maps,
Page 9, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, and of the vacated Southerly 20.00 feet of
Belmont Avenue and the vacated Northerly 10 feet of
Irvington Avenue as said streets were reduced in width by
the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County on
February 21, 1910, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of
Little League Drive as conveyed to the City of San
Bernardino by document recorded March 24, 1975, in Book
8641, Page 653, Official Records of said County, and the
Southerly line of Belmont Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence
Southerly along said Easterly line of Little League
Drive. a distance of 17 feet; thence Northeasterly in a
straight line to a point in a line which is parallel with
and 2 feet Southerly of, as measured at right angles to,
said Southerly line of Belmont Avenue. said point being
Easterly thereon, a distance of 15 feet from said
Easterly line of Little League Drive; thence Easterly
along said parallel line to a point which is 17 feet
Westerly of the Westerly line of Magnolia Avenue, 60
feet wide; thence Southeasterly in a straight line to a
point in a line which is parallel with and 2 feet
Westerly of, as measured at right angles to, said

Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence Easterly along said
Northerly line of Irvington Avenue, a distance of 2 feet
to said Westerly line of Magnolia Avenue; thence
Northerly along said Westerly line of Magnolia Avenue to
the Southerly line of said Belmont Avenue; thence
Westerly along said Southerly line of Belmont Avenue to
the Point of Beginning.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby dedicate for street and highway purposes, all of the above
described portions of the Southerly side of Belmont Avenue, the Westerly side
of Magnolia Avenue. the Southeasterly corner of Little League Drive and
Belmont Avenue, and the Southwesterly corner of Belmont Avenue and Magnolia
Avenue.
SECTION 3.
That the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino
shall cause a certified copy of the Resolution to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of San Bernardino.
