STAFF REPORT
One of the conditions of approval for Tract No. 10260 was that Acacia Drive be
extended from the tract boundary to Hill Drive in order to provide a second means
of access to the subdivision.
,
Pursuant to the Develo]llllent Agreement with John C. Heers, Inc. for Tract No.
10260, right of way was required from two parcels to facilitate construction of
this road extension. On June 20, 1991, a deed was recorded from Mr. and Mrs.
Shockley to the City of San Bernardino for that portion of Acacia between Hill
Drive and the Southerly line of Hillcrest Park. The second parcel was dedicated
to the City for park purposes on the final map for Tract No. 9786. This
dedication of the land for park purposes has been reviewed and approved by Annie
Ramos. Director of Parks. Recreation and Community Services.
The extension of Acacia Avenue to Hill Drive is needed as a secondary access to
Tract No. 10260. and the attached Resolution establishes a boundary and dedicates
that portion of Acacia Avenue lying over Lot 47 of Tract No. 9786 (which is
Hillcrest Park).

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ESTABLISHING A BOUNDARY
FOR A PORTION OF ACACIA AVENUE LYING NORTH OF HILL DRIVE, AND DEDICATION OF
SAME FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby establish a boundary for a portion of Acacia Avenue lying
Northerly of Hill Drive and the Southerly boundary of Hillcrest Park,
described as follows:
That portion of Lot 47, Tract No. 9786, as per map re-
corded in Book 138 of Maps, Pages 32-34, in the office of
the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, California,
described as follows:
A strip of land 60.00 feet in width, the centerline of
which is described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Acacia
Avenue, 60 feet wide. and the Southwesterly line of Tract
No. 10260. as per map recorded in Book 224 of Maps, Pages
9-12, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, said point being a point on a curve concave
Southeasterly and having a radius of 400.00 feet, a
radial from said point bears South 550 54' 22" East;
thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 060 31' 02", an arc distance of 45.50 feet to a
point of tangency; thence South 270 34' 36" West, a
distance of 47.43 feet, to a point on the Southwesterly
line of said Lot 47, said point being South 320 35' 03"
East, a distance of 186.26 feet from the Northwesterly
corner of said Lot 47. said point also being the Point of
Terminus.
The sidelines of the above described parcel of land shall
be shortened or lengthened to begin at the Southwesterly
line of said Tract No. 10260 and to terminate at the
Southwesterly line of said Lot 47 of Tract No. 9786.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby dedicate for street and highway purposes, all of the above
described portion of the Acacia Avenue lying between Hill Drive and the
Southerly boundary of Hillcrest Park.

SECTION 3.
That the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino
shall
cause a certified copy of the Resolution to be recorded in the office
