Re: Opposition/Protest to Annexation No. 352, LAFCO 2672
Gentlemen:
I am (we .are) lthe owner(s) of real property located at

Bern<\Jdino, Cal;fornia, which is knm, as Assessors Parcel No.
n ov1 ~ - / <1/ - 2.-5 , which is the 5ubj ect of Annexation No.
352 LAFCO 2672, generally located between Sixth and Ninth
streets, adjacent to the City of San Bernardino.
I am (we are) incensed by the fact that where the law
requires a fifteen day notice to owners of property of a
proposed annexation. It was given on August 30, 1991, over Labor
Day weekend and set for the absolute minimum time allowed by law.
It would appear that this was done deliberately to frustrate the
owners of property in this area and not give them ample
opportunity to protest and express their desire not to be
involved in the City of San Bernardino.
If our/my written protest has not properly been entered
previously do hereby protest said proceeding. The public hearing
heretofore closed thereon should be reopened for this purpose.
Notwithstanding the fact that an insufficient number of protests
have been heretofore received, the Council on its own motion
should defeat said annexation.
