CITY OF SAN BERNARONO - REQUEST FO.oOUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
The Board of Water Commissioners approved the construction of a new
hydropneumatic pressure boosting station located at the Ridgeline
Drive Reservoir to provide domestic water to the 27 highest
elevation lots on Ridgeline Drive.
Southern California Edison Company requires an easement in order
to construct and maintain the electric facilities to serve the
facility.
The Board of Water Commissioners, at their regular meeting held on
September 17, 1991 unanimously voted to accept the Grant of
Easement and authorized the Secretary to submit said easement to
the Mayor and Common Council for acceptance and approval.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON
COMPANY TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN ELECTRIC SERVICE AT THE WATER
DEPARTMENT'S RIDGELINE RESERVOIR TO SERVE A HYDROPNEUMATIC BOOSTING
STATION.
SECTION ONE:
That the City of San Bernardino, a Municipal
Corporation, does hereby grant an easement to Southern California
Edison Company to construct and maintain electrical service to the

Water Department's Ridgeline Reservoir to serve the hydropneumatic

located on Ridgeline Drive south of Shandin
Hills.
SECTION TWO:
That the said Grant of Easement referred to
herein, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and
is hereby referred to and made a part hereof as fully as though
set forth at length herein, is hereby approved.
SECTION THREE:
That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
San Bernardino are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Grant of Easement on behalf of the City of San Bernardino.
