Descriotion) Finance: Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda I tem No :t.h L1 CITY OF SAN BERNA.QNO - REQUEST FO~OUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT The Board of Water Commissioners approved the construction of the Foothill Boosting Station located at 2001 Foothill Blvd. The purpose of this project is to provide a secondary source of water supply to the Terrace pressure zone and to eliminate low water pressure experienced in the upper portions of the Terrace system during peak summer periods. Southern California Edison Company requires an easement in order to construct and maintain the electric facilities to serve the facility. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: That the City of San Bernardino, a Municipal Corporation, does hereby grant an easement to Southern California Edison Company to construct and maintain electrical service to the 11 Water Department I s Foothill boosting station, located at 2001 12 Foothill Blvd. 13 SECTION TWO: That the said Grant of Easement referred to 14 herein, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and 15 is hereby referred to and made a part hereof as fully as though 16 set forth at length herein, is hereby approved. 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 SECTION THREE: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Grant of Easement on behalf of the City of San Bernardino.
