At the s~ond regularly sChedu1e~counci1 Meeting starting in June, 1991, the City Clerk will pick the numbers 1 through 7 from a container and assign them in the order picked to a list of the Council Committees and will continue this sequence of seven numbers until three Counci1members are assigned to each Committee. Legislative Review 2. Inland Valley Development Authority 3. Ways & Means 4. Redevelopment Committee (or its successor) 5. If a Counci1person declines a seat they would be assigned the last seat in that counting sequence. The original sequence would them commence co . ~ ~ ~ until all seats <:)e assigned. c:> During the second regularly scheduled Council June 1995, the Council will review the entire changes or reimplementation. - Meeting in process for The Committee seats will be deemed to be assigned by Ward and not individuals. THEREFORE, WE ARE RECOMMENDING THAT THE HOUSING OOMMITTEE BECOME A PERMANANT STANDING OOMMITTEE. THIS COMMITTEE WOULD REVIEW ALL HOUSING PROPOSALS BROUGHT TO THE R.D.A. AND THE CITY COUNCIL. ADDITIONALLY, IT WOULD OVERSEE AND RECOMMEND THE EX- PENDITURE OF THE R.D.A. 201 SET A SIDE MONIES. THERE IS ALSO A NEW BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AD. HOC. COMMITTTEB. THIS COMMITTEE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADDRESSING NEW BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OUTSIDE RD.A. AREAS. ...
