F-92-09
The proposed purchase is for one sewer-pipe television inspection system
to be utilized in daily operations by the Public Services/Street
Department.
At the request of the department, appropriate specifications were
prepared, published and furnished to area suppliers. Bids were publicly
opened and declared on May 28, 1991. The fOllowing is a summary of bids
received.

Five (5) suppliers of this commodity were solicited. There were three
(3) no bids and two (2) valid bid responses. The department opted to add
an opti on of an omni -eye head camera upgrade to thi s i nspecti on system
for the option price of $8000.00. The total system with option is
$47,925.00.
Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Director of Public
Services/Street Department who concurs that the bid and option of
Three-T Equipment Company meets specifications and requirements. It is
therefore recommended that the Bid be accepted for contract. The
equipment funding is in the 1990/91 bUdget.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A
2 PURCHASE ORDER TO THREE-T EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE FURNISHING
AND DELIVERY OF ONE (1) SEWER-PIPE TELEVISION INSPECTION SYSTEM,
3 TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC SERVICESISTREET DEPARTMENT IN
ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-92-09.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
5 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1. That Three-T Equipment Company is the lowest
7 and best responsible bidder for the furnishing and delivery of
8 one (1) sewer-pipe television inspection system in accordance
9 with
Bid Specification F-92-09 for the
total
amount of
10 $47,925.00; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent
11 is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for
12 said one (1) sewer-pipe television inspection system to said
13 lowest and best responsible bidder; such award shall only be
14 effective upon the issuance of a Purchase Order by the Purchasing
15 Agent; and all other quotations therefore are hereby rejected.

SECTION 2.
The authorization
to
execute the above
17 referenced purchase order is rescinded if the parties to the
18 purchase order fail to execute it within sixty (60) days of the
19 passage of this resolution.
