STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 87-139 and 87-114, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 982 (Piedmont Drive Area
Landscape Maintenance) has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1991-92 totals S 8,940.48 and is submitted to your Honorable
Body for action as required.

RESOLUTION Of' THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1 'Nl-n ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTldCT NO. 982, LANDSCAPING ~;AINTENANCE, PIED!'!OKT DRIVE
AREA.
WHEREAS,
by Resolution No. 87-139, the Mayor and Common Council
6 found that "the publ ic in"terest, convenience, and necessi t:y r'equired the
7 formation of a landscaping maintenance distric"t; and
8

WHEREAS,
I)y said Resolution No. 87-13'1, the Nayor and Common
10 Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. '182
11 for the purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Piedmont
12 Drive and Indian Canyon Court pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 at
13 the San Bernardino City hunicipal Code; aad
14
15 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 87-114, the Mayor and Common, Council
16 declared that all the land included within the bOUlldaries of said district
17 will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and
18
19 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 87-114 declared that an annual
20 assessment shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding
21 for said landscaping maintenoolce and the administration thereof; and
22
23 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-170, the Mayor and Common Council
24 declared that the public interest and necessity required the amendment of the
25 boundaries of the District by expanding the boundaries thereof to include
26 additional territory in the District; and

2 which sets tanh tehe individual assessments teo be levied on each of tehe
3 parcels of laud within Assessment District No. 982 for the fiscal year 1991-
4 92;

6 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY Tlili MAYOR AKlJ COMMON COUNCIL OF Hili CITY OF
7 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That tehe Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and
10 determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
11
land witehin Assessment District No. 982
are correctly set forth on
12 Assessment Roll No. 982 for the fiscal year 1991-92. designated as Exhibit
13 "A" and attached here"to, and do hereby confirm said assessments.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
16 Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
17 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be
18 placed on the subject 1991-92 property tax bills for collection teogether
19 with all other property taxes.
