The National Orange Show has been contributing to the cost of police service
during the Orange Show Celebraticn for a number of years.
Pr.iar to 1989 the Orange Show paid for the :reserve officers only. Starting in
1989 the Orange Show contributed $15,000 towards the cost of the sworn
..Hi.-I'Il plus the cost of the reserves leaving a net cost to the City of
$21,025.49.
In 1990 the National Orange Show oOhldbuted $18,000 to the cost of sworn
oHi'-na plus the cost of the reserves leaving a net cost to the City of
$15,393.
In 1991 the National Orange- Show has agreed to pay 60' of the sworn nf'ficers
cost plus the cost of the reserve officers. 'De proje(.ted CO'd....ibution to the
oost of sworn officers Js $21,200 leaving a net cost to the City of $14,116.
