Adjustments in the contract price are to be negotiated at the time of each renewal. Change Order No. Two will extend the contract for a one- year period, from 7-1-91 to 6-30-92. There will be no change in the contract unit prices for Assessment Districts No. 974 and 981. The quantities for Assessment Districts No. 975 and 986 will be expanded to incorporate Tracts No. 13953 and 14235. The landscaped area within Assessment District No. 986 will be increased by 363%, from 16,100 square feet to 74,665 square feet (due to inclusion of Tract No. 14325); and the annual contract Basic Bid price increased by 135%, from $6,023.50 to $14,164.00. The landscaped area in Assessment District No. 975 will be increased by 11 %, ,from 5, 232 square feet to 5, 818 square feet (due to inclusion of Tract No. 13953); and the contract Basic Bid price will be increased by 28%, from $3,000.00 to $4,200.00. Assessment District No. 989 has recently been established. Since this district is within the vicinity of the other districts in this contract, it will be added by Change Order No. Two at the negotiated Basic Bid contract price of $3,600.00, which is approximately 25% under our estimated cost. Listed below is an estimate of the Basic Bid contract cost for providing these landscape maintenance services, from 7-1-91 to 6-30-92. Inspection of the maintenance effort by the Contractor will be provided by the Department of Parks and Recreation.
