STAFF REPORT
The City has a legal requirement to have an adopted operating
budget on July 1st each year unless there is an authorized
continuing appropriation resolution.
The attached resolution will authorize the city to
operations at the 1990/91 level until the final
budget is adopted.

1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING AND
ADOPTING AN INTERIM BUDGET OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
2 1991/92 PENDING ADOPTION OF THE 1991/92 FINAL BUDGET.
3 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
That certain document entitled "1990-1991
Annual Budget," as amended and conditioned by orders of the Mayor
and Common Council, on file in the office of the City Clerk is

for the 1991-1992 fiscal year
hereby approved and
adopted as the interim budget of said city
pending adoption of the 1991-1992

Final Budget.

SECTION 2. Until the adoption of the 1991-1992 Final
11
Budget, no new personnel shall be employed, or equipment or
12
capital items purchased without approval of the Mayor. Approvals
13 shall be granted for emergency situations.
