CITY OF SAN BERNA(tDINO - REQUEST FcQ COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
The attached resolution was prepared in an effort to update
and uniformly identify times, dates and places of the regular
scheduled meetings of the boards, commissions and committees
operating within the city of San Bernardino. Prior to this,
several resolutions and amendments existed with respect to
individual boards, commissions and committees and each time a
meeting time or day was changed, a new amendment adopted.
This resolution will repeal all previous resolutions and
amendments and clarify the information into one document.
The Boards, Commissions and Committees addressed in this
resolution are:
The Animal Advisory Commission
The Board of Building Commissioners
The Central city Parking and Business Improvement
Area Advisory Board
The Central city Parking Place Commission
The civil Service Board
The community Development citizens Advisory
committee
The Community Television Commission
The Development Review/Environmental Review
Committee
The Equal Opportunity Committee
The Board of Fire Commissioners
.The Bureau of Franchises
The International Council of Friendship & Goodwill
The Board of Library Trustees
The Park, Recreation , Community Services
Commission
The Planning Commission
The Police Commission
The Traffic Safety Advisory Committee
The Board of Water Commissioners
Of these, the Bureau of Franchises, and Parks, Recreation ,
Community Services Commission have changed the times of their
meetings: Animal Advisory went from 7:00 p.m. to 4 :00 p.m.
and the Parks, Recreation 'Community Services commission
went from 5:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The latter was an effort to
reduce costs by moving nighttime meetings to during the
regular workday when the facilities are already in use.
It is recommended that the resolution be adopted.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO PROVIDING NOTICE
OF THE TIMES, DATES AND PLACES OF REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE
VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 82-323 AND ALL AMENDMENTS
THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
THE ANIMAL ADVISORY COMMISSION of the city
shall meet at 4:00 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month,
quarterly, in the Management Information Center, sixth Floor,
City Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 2. THE BOARD OF BUILDING COMMISSIONERS of the City
shall meet at nine a.m. on the first Friday of each month, in
the Council Chambers ,City Hall, 300 North "0" street, San
Bernardino, California.

PARKING AND
BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT AREA ADVISORY BOARD of the city shall meet at the
call of the Chairman, but in no event less than four times per
year in the Management Information Center, Sixth Floor, City
Hall, 300 Nort.h "0" street, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 4.
THE CENTRAL CITY PARKING PLACE COMMISSION of
the City shall meet at the call of the Chairman, but in no event
less than four times per year in the Management Information
Center, sixth Floor, city Hall, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 5. THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD of the city shall meet
at nine a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in
Room 214-1, the Civil Service Board Room, Second Floor, City
Hall, 300 North "0" street, San Bernardino, California.

Room on the Third Floor of City Hall, 300 North "0" street, San
Bernardino, California.
SECTION 8. THE COMMUNITY TELEVISION COMMISSION OF THE CITY
shall meet at 2:00 p.m., on the first and third Tuesday of each
month in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 300 North "0" Street,
San Bernardino, california.
SECTION 9. THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW/ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
COMMITTEE of the City shall meet each Thursday at 9:00 a.m., in
the Third Floor Conference Room, City Hall, 300 North "0"
Street, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 10. THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY COMMITTEE of
the City shall meet at 3:00 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the
month in the Management Information Center, sixth Floor, City
Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 11. THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS of the City
shall meet at 12:15 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at
the Central Fire station No.1, 200 East Third Street, San
Bernardino, California.
SECTION 12. THE BUREAU OF FRANCHISES of the City shall
meet at 2:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the
Management Information Center, Sixth Floor, city Hall, 300 North
"0" Street, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 13. THE INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF FRIENDSHIP AND
GOODWILL BOARD of the City shall meet at twelve noon on the
second Wednesday of each month in the Management Information
Center, sixth Floor, city Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San
Bernardino, California.
SECTION 14. THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES of the City

Services Department Conference Room, 547 N. Sierra Way, San
Bernardino, california.
SECTION 16. THE PLANNING COMMISSION of the City shall meet
at seven p.m. on the first Tuesday following the first Monday
and the first Tuesday following the third Monday of each month
in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San
Bernardino, california.
SECTION 17. THE POLICE COMMISSION of the city shall meet
at six-thirty p.m. on the second Monday of each month, in the
Council Chambers, city Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San
Bernardino, California.
SECTION 18. THE TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE of the
City shall meet at 1:45 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the
month, in the Management Information Center, Sixth Floor, city
Hall, 300 North "0" street, San Bernardino, California.
SECTION 19. THE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS of the City
shall meet at 9:30 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each
month in the Water Department Board Room, Fifth Floor, city
Hall, 300 North "0" street, San Bernardino, California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the city of San
Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held on the
