1) ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES - PLANNING & BUILDING SERVICES
DEPJl.RTMENT
On May 6, 1991, the Mayor and Common Council approved the
appointment of Al Boughey as Director of Planning &
~uilding Services. Mr. Boughey begins his new position
on June 17, 1991. The position is at Range 4503, $5,451-
$6, 627/month.
With Mr. Boughey's appointment, Larry Reed will transfer
from Department Director to Assistant Director of Plan-
ning & Building services, also effective June 17, 1991.
Staff recommends establishing the
Planning & Building Services at
$5, 936/month. comparable positions
city Engineer.

2) CONSOLIDATION OF TREASURER DEPARTMENT STAFF
This item was approved by the Council Personnel Committee
on May 9, 1991.
As a result of the Treasurer position being converted to
part-time, staff recommends that it would be more effi-
cient to transfer the existing full-time positions of the
Treasurer's Office into the Finance Department.
This recommendation affects the following positions:
o Assistant City Treasurer
o Deputy Chief Treasurer
o Cashier II .
o Cashier I
The effective date of the transfer from Treasurer Depart-
ment to Finance Department is June 3, 1991. The four
positions will change from Unclassifed to Classified on
that date.
This recommendation has no financial impact.
