STAFF REPORT
The indiscriminate use of fireworks in some areas of the
City tends to increase the potential of accidental fires
endangering both public and private property. The proposed
ordinance would prohibit the discharge of fireworks either with
or without a permit in the Perris Hill area.

8.60.120.B OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO

DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Effective January 1, 1992 Subsection B of
Section 8.60.120 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code is amended
to read as follows:
"B. No fireworks shall be discharged in the high fire
hazard area described in Section 8.63.130 and within the
area bounded by Highland Avenue, Del Rosa Avenue, Pacific
Street and Perris Hill Drive, commonly known as Perris
Hill."
