STAFF REPORT
Right-of-way for the re-alignment of "G" Street, north of Mill
Street, will be dedicated by recordation of Parcel Map No. 9506.
This alignment will create a normal 900 approach to Mill Street.
Parcel No. 22 will be established by this map between Lytle Creek
Flood Control Channel and the re-aligned "G" Street. This parcel
is traversed by the present alignment of "G" Street, which will be
vacated by Parcel Map No. 9506.
The developer agreed to dedicate the right-of-way to align "G"
Street, in return for title to the vacated portion of existing
"G" Street. Acquisition of title to the vacated portion of "G"
Street will render Parcel No. 22 developable.
Adoption of the proposed resolution will authorize the Mayor to
execute a grant deed conveying all of the City's interest in Parcel
No. 22 to the Redevelopment Agency.
We recommend that the resolution authorizing execution of the
grant deed be adopted.
URGENCY CLAUSE:
The developers of Parcel Map No. 9506 need assurance that they will
receive title to the existing "G" Street, before they can record the
parcel map and dedicate the right-of-way for the new alignment.
Buildings within this development are nearing completion, and the
map needs to be recorded in order to allow the parcels to be sold
or leased. Also, the map must be recorded before we can certify
the right-of-way and proceed with the installation of traffic
signals.

RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A CORPORATE GRANT DEED FOR THE 'SALE OF A CERTAIN
3 PARCEL OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT "G" STREET AND MILL STREET IN THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
4 SAN BERNARDINO.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

7 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
8 hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a
9 corporate grant deed for the sale of certain real property
10 located at the intersection of "G" Street and Mill Street in the
11 City of San Bernardino, as more specifically described in the
12 corporate grant deed, a copy of which is attached hereto and
13 marked as Exhibit "A".
