RE: AGENDA PLACEMENT FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MONDAY.
8-17-87 - POUND SEIZURE INITIATIVE ORDINANCE AND PETITION
Dear Mayor Wilcox and Common Council:
As President of Action for Animals, Inc., I respectfully request placement
on the Agenda for the city council meeting of Monday, August 17, 1987.
At that time I will be representing the constituency of the city of San
Bernardino by submitting the completed petition that calls for our city
to discontinue selling animals for purposes of experimentation from our
city pound.
Although signatures are still being received, as of this date we now
have 9111 signatures. The completed, original petition will be submitted
to the City Clerk, Shauna Clark, for validation at that time.
