Recommended motion:
1. That the transfer of $41,700, from Account No. 245-365-57731,
Cajon Boulevard Trunk Extension - Cable Creek Channel to Little
League Drive,. to Account No. 245-365-57704, .City's Share of
Main Extensions,. be approved.
2. That the plans for installation of a sewer main in State Street
and Roosevelt Street, in accordance with Plan No. 8441, be
approvedi and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer auth-
orized to advertise forbids;

STAFF REPORT
At the Council meeting of 2-4-91, the City's participa-
tion in the cost of extending a sewer main to serve 2160
Roosevelt Street was approved. The preliminary estimate of cost
was $37,000.
Plans have been prepared by the Engineering Division and
the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project
consists of extending a sewer main from the existing sewer at
Colorado Avenue and Evans Street, to 2160 Roosevelt Avenue.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:

An amount of $50,000 was allocated in the 1990/91 Sewer
Line Construction Fund, under Account No. 245-365-57704, to
finance the City's share of the cost for extension of sewer
mains to serve unsewered areas. Based upon the preliminary
estimate of cost, $37,000 was designated for this project.
Supplemental funds, in the amount of $41,700, will be needed to
fully finance the total estimated project cost.
It is recommended that the transfer of $41,700, from
Account No. 245-365-57731, .Cajon Trunk Extension - Cable Creek
Channel to Little League Drive,. to Account No. 245-365-57704,
.Ci ty' s share of Sewer Main Extensions ,. be approved, in order
to provide the necessary supplemental funding.
The sewer main extension in Cajon Boulevard has not been
commenced, since development of adjoining property has been
deferred until an environmental impact report is prepared.
Therefore, the transfer of $41,700 will not result in any delays
to this sewer main extension.
We recommend that the transfer of $41,700 and plans be
approved, and authorization granted to advertise for bids.
