One of the first actions taken by the Council/Commission was to authorize the conducting of a salary survey for certain Agency benchmark positions. The consulting firm of Ralph Andersen and Associates was eventually selected by staff to conduct the study. Because of the length sad complexity of a comber of documents related to the reorganization, including the salary survey, staff on April 2, 1991, provided the salary survey and comparative analysis of City/Redevelopment Agency/Ecoaonic Development Agency/Development Department positions to the Community Development Commission. Based upon the recommeadatione submitted bq Ralph Andersen and Associates, staff has developed compensation levels and salary ranges for all Economic Development Agency positions. The Commission hereby approves the lg compensation levels and corresponding salary ranges as set forth 14 on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this 15 reference pertaining to the various employees who shall be 16 amPloyed by the Agency. 17 18 gggtion 2. The designation of a step within a 19 salary range for any given employee at any applicable 20 compensation level shall be undertaken by the Agency 21 Administrator upon recommendation of the Executive Director of ~ the Development Department. 23 24 l5ection 3.
