STAFF REPORT
Annie Ramos, Director of parks, Recreation and community
services, has requested salary increases for the positions of
Teacher Director, Teacher, Teacher Aide, and Clerk,
(Attachment "A"). The salary increases are in conformance
with and recommended by the preschool services Departmen~. ,.--/
Total financial impact for the remainder of the fiscal year
is $1,467.00. Because the school year is from September 1,
1990 to August 31, 1991, and the budget for this program is
approved for the same period, these pay rates will be
effective retroactive to september 1, 1990.

SUBJECT: HEADSTART/PRESCHOOL POSITIONS

I request that the pay rate of the Headstart/Preschoo1
position be modified to conform to the 1990-91 Head-
start/Preschool budget. These pay rates are in conformance
with and recommended by the Preschool Services Department.
Due to the schedule of the Head Start program at Delmann
Heights Community Center, it is desireable to have the
resolution for staff salaries modified at the December 3,
1990 council Meeting. Because the school year is from
September 1, 1990 to August 31, 1991, and the budget for this
program is approved for the same period, it is requested that
these pay rates be effective retroactively to September 1,
1990.
Attached you will find the 1990-91 Budget Agreement.
