ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING
SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 15.32.030 OF CHAPTER
15.32 TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT FOR PLANNING COMMISSION
REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF METAL-COVERED BUILDINGS.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Section 15.32.030 of Chapter 15.32
Metal-Covered Buildings is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"15.32.030
Development
Review
Committee
Review,
Considerations and Conditions.
It shall be unlawful to erect, construct, establish,
alter or enlarge any building which has an exterior wall
made and/or composed of metal without the review and
approval of the Development Review Committee (DRC). The
DRC shall consider the relationship of the premises on
which the metal building is to be located to abutting land
uses, and may
impose as conditions
of approval or
modification of the application, the erection of walls and
fences, and the establishment of landscaping, setbacks,
exterior design changes and other requirements, which will
insure the compatibility of the improvement or development
to the abutting land uses in conformity with the purposes
and intent of this chapter. In all cases, the construction
shall conform to the requirements of the applicable codes,
ordinances and regulations adopted by the City."
